In the majestic province of Aragon, in the heart of the Pyrenees, the village of Sallent de Gallego is the ideal base to visit the area and enjoy the riches of the mountain. Its stone houses built around its Gothic church are testimony to its proud heritage. A few kilometres away, the ski resort of Formigal extends over 137 km of runs. 91 pistes wind between 1500 and 2250 m above sea level on four different areas: Valle Tres Hombres-Sextas, Valle de Izas-Sarrios, Valle Anayet and Valle Portalet. 22 ski lifts provide a link between these areas. Beginner areas, freeride routes, snowpark, boardercross, the ski area is equipped so that each skier and snowboarder can express themselves fully at any level.
