Set off to discover the small Austrian resort of Saalfelden, very close to Zell am See in the land of Salzburg. The resort is linked to that of Hinterreit.
Located at an altitude of between 780 and 1150 metres, the ski area comprises 4.4 kilometres of slopes distributed over 1.7 kilometres of blue runs, 1.6 kilometres of red and 1.1 kilometres of black. There is something for all levels, from novices to experts. Snowboarders will be delighted with a magnificent half-pipe. The resort is also renowned for maintaining its 50 km of Nordic skiing slopes.
Once the skis slopes have closed, you can do a wide range of activities such as curling, walking, horse riding or paragliding. A 6 km slope, lit up at night, has been set up for tobogganing. You can skate with friends or family on Lake Riztensee which is frozen in winter. Night owls will be thrilled, bars and a nightclub await you at nightfall.
