Ski rental Montgenèvre

Located at 1,860m above sea level in the Southern French Alps, Montgenèvre combines rustic mountain village charm with modern snow sports facilities. On the resort's doorstep, its ski area reaches up to 2,680m on two sides of the mountain and is part of the Monts de la Lune ski domain. Including Montgenèvre, and the Italian resorts of Clavière, and Cesana, this ski domain has 110km of slopes linked by pistes and chairlifts for snow sports enthusiasts of all levels to enjoy. And if that's not enough, Montgenèvre is the only French resort to be linked to the Via Lattea or Milky Way ski area, this is one of Europe's biggest ski domains and has a massive 400km of marked slopes across the Monts de la Lune resorts as well as Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, and San Sicario. On Montgenèvre's own slopes you can enjoy skiing or boarding in sunny and snowy conditions as the resort receives 300 days of sunshine a year and abundant snowfall. And from the two ski areas, Les Gondrans and Le Chalvet, the views of Queyras and Oisans Valleys and Italy are spectacular. The slopes cover a variety of terrain and many of them pass down through picturesque larch and pine forest right to the village. For adventurers the freeride opportunities from Montgenèvre are almost endless. Not just limited to downhill skiing and snowboarding Montgenèvre has loads of other snow sport facilities. There's a snowpark designed to give freestylers maximum air, a half-pipe, and Big Air Bag. Speed skiing and heli-skiing are popular options for the adventurous, and for simple fun in the snow you can go tobogganing, snow tubing, snowshoe trekking, ice skating, or try Yooners at Montgenèvre. After all your adventures in the snow you'll be happy to return to the welcoming village of Montgenèvre with its friendly and lively après ski atmosphere, where you can relax in the many restaurants and bars until late. With its sports facilities, warm charm, and location only one hours' drive from Turin airport or fifteen minute drive from two TGV train stations, Montgenèvre is the perfect destination for both long and short winter holidays.
