Laterns, a family resort

Laterns (or Laterns Gapfohl) is one of the most authentic resorts in Austria. Rather confidential, it has the reputation of offering accommodation, but also access to the area at very interesting prices. The ski area is located above the hamlet of Innerlanters. The 27 km of slopes are located between 1,040 and 1,785 meters above sea level. You can ski 11 km of blue, 12 km of red and 4 km of black runs. Freestylers of all levels will find their happiness in the snowpark located next to the Nob chairlift. Big jumps, kickers and rails will allow you to perfect your jumps, but also your figures. The Falba Stuba restaurant, located in the heart of the ski area, is waiting for you to recharge your batteries in a picturesque setting. Many ski instructors are available to take care of children and guide them on their first descents.

A natural destination

The ski area of Laterns is dotted with forests. Many trails wind through the pine trees and some even venture into the powder. The resort offers 11 km of ungroomed snow for memorable ski touring and freeride trips. There are also many prepared itineraries for walking or snowshoeing. The must? Take a half-day trip with a guide to explore the area away from the usual routes while staying safe. For thrills, go to the start of the 4 km natural sledging run. Be careful, this is a technical itinerary to be done lying down on a small sled, as we can see during the Olympic Games, but on an artificial ice track. A warm après-ski

Once the slopes are closed, all skiers can have fun in Laterns. Cafés and bars await you for a gourmet snack or a friendly aperitif. If you still have some energy left, there are several establishments with dance floors to party the night away.
