Going is a charming Austrian resort located on a plateau in the Tyrol in the lakes region. This is one of the 4 villages of Wilder Kaiser (Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll) in the famous Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental area, the biggest ski area in Austria. A traditional village with its small farms, restaurants, cottages, craftsmen and markets, you will be immersed in a mountainous atmosphere with an old-fashioned feel to it. Going is located at an altitude of 1530 m.
Its ski area offers 279 km of downhill skiing, 170 km of cross-country ski trails and 110 km of hiking trails. There is something for all tastes! Lots of activities are available: ice rink, snowshoe hiking, sleigh rides, candlelit walks with a guide, etc. Ice toboggans are used as toboggan runs, there are 5 in the area. The toboggan run of Astberg-Ellmau-Going is 4.5 km long, it is the longest run in the area and starts is Going! You can relax at the spa of the resort or in the indoor uncovered pools.
