Ski hire Fiss

The Inn Valley is home to Austria's sunniest plateau, and this is where you'll find the traditional village of Fiss basking in the year round sunshine. Originally a Tyrolean farming village Fiss has managed to retain its rustic charms while becoming a world renowned ski resort. From the narrow winding streets filled with traditional buildings you can take the lifts up to the 190km of slopes in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area. From the linking of the three villages of Serfaus, Fiss, and Ladis, this ski area has become a great place for all levels of skiers, snowboarders, and other snow sports enthusiasts. Its slopes are varied in level, and the ski area starts at 1,200m and goes up to 2,800m in altitude so you can be sure you'll find loads of different types of terrain to explore. Surrounded by the Samnaun mountains and the Ötztal Alps the area has some stunningly beautiful views and the landscape lends itself well to a wealth of snow and ice based activities. The 135km of cross-country ski trails are a great way to get closer to the nature of the area, as well as the snowshoe and hiking routes. The mountains are perfect for paragliding, and through these flights you can see the area from a completely different angle. However, perhaps the most unusual way to explore this environment is by Segway, the resort organises regularl tours across the plateau on these fun electric machines.Great for the whole family the snow sports and activities in Fiss are varied and endlessly entertaining. And the fun continues into the night with the resort's events, restaurants, and bars. Every Tuesday you can enjoy the laser show, fireworks, night skiing, and moonlit dining on the slopes of the Möseralm area. As Fiss is a small family-friendly resort there isn't a huge après ski party scene but in nearby Serfaus you'll find some clubs where night owls can dance the night away.
