Situated in the Les Allues Valley, the ski resort of Méribel is at the centre of one of the world's largest ski areas, Les Trois Vallées.
Méribel has access to over 600 kilomètres of slopes and unlimited off-piste. As you'd expect within a vast area like Les Trois Vallées all levels and ages of skier and snowboarder are catered for. But Méribel and its surrounding area provide so much more than just varied slopes. There are snowparks for beginners and advanced skiers and boarders, fun zones for kids and avalanche-controlled freeride learning areas where you can learn to enjoy powder off-piste. There's even a Bump Run with 400 vertical metres of bumps to challenge yourself on.
Other snow based activities at Méribel include cross-country skiing, snow show walks and horse sleigh tours. If you want to spend some time away from the snow then there are endless opportunities.
In the resort centre you can relax and unwind in the many well-being and fitness centres or chill out in one of the cinemas. Of course if you like to relax après ski style, then there are lots of bars and restaurants in town. You'll find every kind of cuisine and you won't be stuck for late night entertainment in the bars and clubs.Méribel is a purpose built resort but the architecture is in tune with its surroundings. It has pretty wood-clad chalet style buildings and very few high rises, giving the resort a charming traditional feel. There's some accommodation on-piste and there are free shuttle buses so getting around town is very easy. Getting to Méribel couldn't be easier either, with Geneva International Airport 85 miles away and Grenoble - Isère Airport a mere 75 miles weekend and short breaks are really easy from the UK.
