Comprising eight small villages the resort of Les Ménuires is the perfect spot for your snow sports holiday.
In the heart of the France's Savoie region, Les Ménuires is famous for its quality accommodation, range of leisure activities, friendly atmosphere, and amazing skiing and snowboarding. Situated in the Trois Vallées area Les Ménuires is part of one of the largest ski areas in the world. With its neighbours, Val Thorens, Meribel, Courchevel, Brides Les Bains and La Tania, you have access to an astonishing 600km of marked runs.
In addition to skiing and snowboarding you can explore the area around Les Ménuires by foot, on snowshoes, or on a pony. To see the area at a faster pace there are snowmobiles, quads, buggies, snowscooters, and toboggans. Or for a completely different perspective, explore from the air by paragliding. Don't forget that the Belleville Valley has some cultural gems to explore too, like the Baroque art in Saint-Martin-de-Bellevile and the Belleville Museum which retells the last 150 years of the area.
Once you've finished on the mountains for the day you'll be happy to return to the town of Les Ménuires. The resort isn't known for its charming architecture but in recent years has undergone a regeneration project which has left town looking more attractive and has helped it blend in with its natural surroundings. You can easily hire a car and drive or take one of the bus transfers straight to the resort in under two or three hours.
