Flaine is a wonderful place to spend a holiday with family or friends. 

Located in the Haute-Savoie region of France, Flaine is part of the Grand Massif ski area and has access to 265km of runs. From an altitude of 2,500m you'll face Mont Blanc and have an entire mountain paradise to explore. This Alpine playground is the fourth largest ski area in France and is home to extensive and varied terrain with slopes for all levels, which have been designed to follow the natural contours of the mountains.

Flaine doesn't just cater for skiing and snowboarding. If you fancy something a bit different why not try the ice driving available in the resort? Or choose from the other high-speed activities, like karting on ice, ice quad biking, or snowmobiling. And off the ice and snow there's even more to choose from, including paragliding, rock climbing, and helicopter rides!

Although to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings you may prefer to explore on foot, there are plenty of hiking and snowshoeing trails around the mountains - all of which offer picture postcard views.For a completely different pace, you can take some time out to explore the history of the area.

Flaine has been aptly named a "fly in, ski out resort" because it's so easy to get to from Geneva airport. Only a one and a quarter hours' drive from the airport and you're in the heart of the resort ready to ski straight out of your accommodation and onto the slopes!

Flaine is home to works of art by Vasarely, Picasso, and Dubuffet, and has several buildings which are listed as historical monuments.
